«Р-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» offers its customers specially developed roving types made from E-glass for the production of fiberglass armature.
We pay a special attention to high-technology processes of fiberglass armature production. Therefore, in out laboratory on a regular basis we carry out tests on fiberglass armature properties (alkali resistance of the fiberglass armature) made from the direct (single-process) glassroving. Our fiberglass armature is being produced under the brand name of our company («PDT»).
Test results proved that the armature produced from «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» roving is resistant to a mixture of three alkalis. The raw material for the production of our direct roving - alumina-borosilicate glass - which we use for the production of fiberglass armature, better known as E-glass, second only to AR glass. Its superiority over other brands of glass is due to a special recipe developed by professional chemists of our Russian-German company. It consists of 0,5% ZrO₂ and 6% В₂О₃ (boric anhydride). Due to this «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» roving has good alkali resistance and extends the life of fiberglass armature.
