LLC «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» was founded and included into the unified state register of legal entities on December, 13th, 2007 according to the Federal Law «On State Registration of Legal Entities».
LLC «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» was created to implement an investment project for the production of fiberglass and fiberglass based products. The objective of the project implementation - to introduce products of a new high-tech production to domestic and foreign sales markets, increase in the share of Russian products in total fiberglass consumption.
In March of 2008, LLC «P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» signed an Agreement on conducting industrial production activity on the territory of the Special economic zone in Yelabuga district, Republic of Tatarstan, having received a resident status of the SEZ «Alabuga».
Such advantages of the SEZ «Alabuga» were taken into account when choosing a site for construction of the plant: significant tax benefits, convenient geographical location (proximity to a large petrochemical, automobile production and other industrial enterprises), as well as developed transport infrastructure of the region.
The solemn ceremony of laying a symbolic "first" stone into the foundation of the plant took place on July, 4th, 2008.
«P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Fiberglass» plant for the production of fiberglass and fiberglass based products was built as a part of a joint project of the largest oil refining company PJSC «Tatneft» and German Preiss-Daimler Group, which holds a leading position in Europe for the production of fiberglass products that meets international quality standards DIN EN ISO 9001-2000.
The technological process for the production of the first glass fiber of the plant was launched on November, 3rd, 2010.
Modern automated control systems allow to maintain precisely defined technological processes, which ensures high quality of the products. The production is equipped with a climate control unit that provides purified fresh air and maintains the required temperature level. Multistage purification of combustion products of the glass melting furnace reduces the temperature of the emitted gases and the actual emission of harmful gases is reduced to zero. "

A significant proportion of fiberglass is used in production of fiberglass products, boats, yachts, fiberglass pipes, and ventilation devices, cooling towers, tanks for industrial chemical and petrochemical enterprises.
